We have this game you might have heard of. It's called New York Times Crosswords. It's, like, the only mobile crossword application that's officially licensed by the New York Times. I. Know. So, anyway. It needs someone to take up the reins and lead the team. You know, lead it into the future of mobile app development and stuff.

- Summary -
- Organize, direct and lead the design, production and life of the New York Times Crosswords mobile product. Coordinate all efforts around the New York Times Crosswords mobile product including investigating and interfacing with development partners; working on marketing strategies and execution; coordinating design and development efforts; and creating and tracking budgets and revenue. Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, help define the product vision, ensure the product's market success and engage with the New York Times Crosswords community.
- Primary Responsibilities -
- Work with the Executive Producer to define the product strategy and roadmap
- Manage the schedule for resources allocated to the project
- Organize marketing and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Propose and manage an overall budget to ensure success, and track adherence to the budget
- Work with external partners to facilitate the development and maintenance of the product
- Evolve the product design to maintain market leadership
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Act as a leader within the company
- Knowledge and Skill Requirements -
- Experience interfacing with or managing a development team
- Marketing training or experience
- Experience using mobile entertainment products (ideally games)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to take initiative and act independently
- Ability to work well in a team
- Experience developing and producing games
